Vessels include a Transparent Footed Series, featuring rich, saturated transparent colors that blend in
unexpected ways. Various sizes and colors.
Zack’s platters and bowls will appear in either translucent color mixtures, with ribbons of opaque color, or
with vivid transparent color. Many platters can be mounted on a wall for a dramatic display. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
Glass artist Gary Zack's vessel forms are blown in a spontaneous and free style that allows the material to take its own path. Light and airy, his pieces suggest the nature of the glass, as its hot, malleable and fluid. His Floral Series features rich, saturated transparent and opaque colors that blend in unexpected ways. Each set is carefully and purposefully composed, with graceful flower forms and tendrils set in a vase of complimentary color. Some of the vases are filled with rice to encourage stability. Each vase, flower and tendril is entirely handmade in Zack's studio in Saratoga Springs.

| “GOOD TO BE THE KING” Zack makes three versions of his Chess sets. The one shown here is a half set, with a curved edge. Each chess figure is individually handmade, with details of 23k gold leaf, and either spirals or dots on the body to distinguish the players. The board is 3/8” thick plate glass, with glass ball feet and sandblasted board detail. |

| CLOUD SERIES BOWL GZ 168 This new series features transparent layers of multiple colors over applications of wispy opaque ‘clouds’. The edges have a darker concentration of color, with a contrasting lip wrap. The bowl shown is approximately 13” diameter and 8” high, with a ruby pink lip wrap. |
